To this;
1. Over the base, make a new layer and fill it with #5097f7, set it to Overlay.
2. Duplicate the base, set it to Lighten.
3. Make a new layer, fill it with white, and set it to Color.
4. Make a new layer, fill it with #ee00d5, and set it to Darken.
Finito! You can of course also test out other colors on the Darken layer.
